A Pinot Noir with alluring perfume, concentrated satsuma plum and ripe berry flavours and a gamey undertow, framed by silky tannins, perfect for pairing with duck, game or barbecued meats. Designed for relaxed, easy drinking with friends and family.
Handpicked and handmade with care and skill, it expresses the perfect, tiny patch of Tasmania where it was grown.
VINEYARD
Our growers Paul and Rachel hand tend this little patch on heaven at Rosevears in Tasmania's Tamar Valley. Rachel's dad planted the vineyard back in 1978, when the Tassie wine industry was truly boutique and they continue to farm it and honour his vision and legacy. It's perched up high, with incredible views up the down the Tamar River and out to the coast. It really feels just like an old world European vineyard, with its narrow rows and low trellis. The vineyard is dry grown and produces wines with fantastic concentration and elegance.
VINTAGE
The 2025 vintage was a dream run for most Tassie growers, with plenty of warmth, healthy yields and generous flavours. The sustained warmth of the season produced even ripening, balanced natural acidity and fine tannins along with abundant fruit flavour.
WINEMAKING
Hand harvested fruit was destemmed to a traditional open fermenter for a cold soak to extract fine, supple tannins before fermentation and gentle hand plunging, with a total of 23 days on skins. Natural tannin from dry grown vines provides concentration and structure, giving the wine verve and persistence. Maturation for 6 months in French oak barriques and hogsheads on fine lees, with 10% new oak.
Vegan friendly, minimal sulphur added.
